From dinners on long conference nights, to teacher appreciation… from celebrating personal milestones and supporting teachers during tough times, we are there. We consider supporting our teachers to be our primary mission. And we need your help! Sign up for Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, Hospitality, Conference Dinners, and homeroom parents!

Welcome Back, Teachers! 2023-2024

The NPE PTO welcomed our teachers and faculty back to school with an Amazon gift card and a sweet treat from Nothing Bundt Cakes! We wanted to let them know that they are truly appreciated.

Teacher Appreciation Week: May 2-6 2022!

We had so much fun showing teachers how much we appreciated them! Check out what we pulled off:

Monday: Brunch We had a delicious brunch spread from Furio's catering set up in the teacher's lounge. Options like eggs, french toast, bacon, fruit, grilled veggies, salad, salmon, flounder, and chicken, will be served.
Tuesday: Flowers Each teacher was given a vase with flowers as they came in, and we asked for students to please bring a flower for their teacher to contribute to the bouquet.
Wednesday: Snack Table An assorted snack table was set up in the teacher's lounge with grab and goodies like chips, granola bars, trail mix, protein bars, fruit, etc. for staff to come and refuel throughout the day!
Thursday: Lottery Day We set scratch off tickets with cute little 100 grand candy bars and paydays in each teacher's mailbox.
Friday: Principle Heinle had lunch for the teachers and we supplied an assortment of favorite Girl Scout Cookies.

We were thrilled to be able to give the teachers a surprise chocolate charcuterie board and hot cocoa for a surprise thank you. We recognize that this has been a particularly draining fall for teachers at NPE and the whole of WSSD, and we are beyond thankful for these people.

We dropped in on Professional Development days in August to kick off the year with some smiles!

NPE PTO was also happy to distribute $25 gift cards to NPE’s teachers and staff to help with all the little odds and ends that they’ll need before the start of the year.
