4.9.2024 NPE PTO Meeting
We had a wonderful turnout at Tuesday's NPE PTO General Assembly Meeting, thank you to everyone who came out and joined us on Zoom! We had some special guests join us this evening as well! We were joined by Mrs.DiProsperos and Mr. Buscaglia (Mr. B) along with representatives, Max Tucker (Treasurer) Ben Garfall (Officer) and Sophia Coughlan (President) from NPE's Student Council. We were also joined by Stacey and Jenny from the Strath Haven Middle School's Home and School Association as they shared information about what SHMS HSA does for the school and students and how to get involved. The meeting minutes will be posted soon, in the meantime, here are some of the highlights:
The teachers and staff enjoyed and appreciated all the delicious food that was provided at the Spring Conference Dinner, thank you to everyone who helped!
The Book vending machine has been delivered and is being set up! We can't wait to see it in action!
5th Grade Bowling Night is this Saturday!

NPE's Student Council joined us and Max Tucker (Treasurer), Ben Garfall (Officer), and Sophia Coughlan (President) shared with us all that they do and their achievements throughout the year. They were accompanied by Mrs. DiProsperos and Mr. B. who discussed how this is student-led and how the Student Council serve as liaisons to the student body and staff
Co-Chairs Stacey Peki and Jenny Montague, from the Strath Haven Middle School's Home and School Association, joined us to discuss all that SHMS HSA does to help the students and staff. May Fair is scheduled for 5/23 with a rain date of 5/31
We are still looking for nominees for the following positions for the NPE PTO and Delco Turkey Trot positions:
2 Vice Co-chairs (2-year position- you would be co-chair 1st year and chair the second year)
Need 2 Delco Turkey Trot Co-Directors who would shadow Traci and Leah next year and then assume responsibility for this role the following year (this is paid a small stipend for the amount of work that goes into it). Elections will be held on the May 9th meeting
Lastly, we are trying to reach as many people as possible and will test out an earlier time for the NPE PTO meetings. The last NPE PTO General Assembly meeting of the 2023-2024 school year, will be on Thursday, May 9th at 6:00pm
