NPE PTO General Assembly Meeting Recap

NPE PTO held the first General Assembly Meeting of the 2024-2025 school year on Wednesday, September 11th! We had a great turnout and had some wonderful discussions and ideas during the meeting. Here are some of the highlights:

• Mr. Heinle provided a report and stated that the students and staff have had a wonderful first few weeks of school. The first PBIS assembly of the year and spirit day were held and it's always great to see the kids gather together and celebrate being part of NPE. Mr. Heinle thanked everyone for the wonderful welcome for both students and staff at the start of the school year. 

• Mrs. Bedner provided a teacher's report and gave a presentation on the special education team and the projects they have worked on with students and staff, such as the seashell project where students decorated seashells with positive messages written on them and hid them for others to find. It was wonderful to learn more about these projects and all they bring to the school. 

• PTO discussed the events that will take place throughout this year and how to get involved.

• We discussed Delco Turkey Trot™ NPE PTO's BIGGEST fundraiser! Registration is open and we will need volunteers for the race day! Please see the registration and volunteer links in this email.

• The budget was reviewed and approved for the 2024-2025 school year.
